Between June and August the Finnish Lakeland runs about twenty-two degrees and nineteen hours of daylight. For a family escaping forty-five in Riyadh or Muscat, that is the entire proposition.
The villa sits on its own stretch of shoreline with a sauna at the water's edge and a boat. Nothing here is busy. The nearest town is a twenty-minute drive and there is no reason to go unless you want to.
This one suits people who have done the European city circuit and would now like to hear nothing for a week.
